PG&E Wildfire Safety Inspection Helicopters
College of Marin, Indian Valley Campus site – January 3rd-17th, 2022
Pacific Gas & Electric will begin annual Wildfire Safety Inspections in the Indian Valley Preserve open space. Sub-contractors hired by Pacific Gas & Electric will be using helicopters to perform inspections to power lines in the open space which is inaccessible via vehicle. The helicopters will be using a site behind the College of Marin Indian Valley Campus Ball Fields for staging; as such, the hiking trails accessing the site will be restricted for safety reasons and foot traffic is being re-routed around the site.
